The Fish Symbol

This symbol stems from Easter Island.

To me Easter Island and its colonization has become a metaphor for a civilization destroying the very basis for its own existence and thus finally itself by using up all the resources of its environment.

At the same time I love the beauty of this drawing which to me represents values like simplicity, connectedness with nature and a metaphysical perception of the world.
